Lamia has spent eternities with her sister, spending their fare share of time driving fear into the minds of the mortals. On a particular day, Lamia was feeling rather gleeful. She walked into a rather crowded area. She waved a finger at one of the men near bye. He was quite handsom for a human, and he walked up to her win a coclky grin on his face. " Hey, gorgious, wheres your date?" She pulled her light red painted lips into a flurtatious smile." I do not seem to have one." His grin spread even bigger and her stepped closer. " Well then I'll have to fix that." Lamia now smiled full force, exposing her gleaming white fangs. " Oh, I dont mind." The humans eyes widened and he took a step back. Now Lamia let out a harmonic laugh, and its bell like tone echoes through the air. She jumped into the air and landed behind the man. She took both his shoulders in her hands and craned her neck to sink in for the kill. He let out a muffled scream, and the surrounding humans turned to glance in their direction. Shouts and wails of horror followed, but all that remains in the few moments afterwards were the buzz of flies over drained corpses.
A women in a black hooded cloak floated into the areana. She pushed the hood behind her head, and glanced around her. " Dear Lamia, you left none for me." She frowned as Lamia stood, licking crimson blood from her lips. " You'll have to for give me, Hekate. I just could not resist." The goddess laughed and walked towards her sister. " We shall go night hunting then, to make up for you loss." Hekate linked arms with Lamia and smiled." Yes, that sounds like a grand idea, sister."
The two goddesses walked up to a house with an open window in a suburban neighbor hood. " I'll take this one." Hekate said, and enveloped herself in black mist. She floated up,hovering just outside the window with her red eyes glowing throught the darkness. A black haired man walked down the hallway and let out a unmanly gasp, before he stumbled back and ran into a room. He whispered a fearful to his warning to his wife in what was the master bedroom as Hekate glided into the hall, and down to a room with an open door. Hekate smiled and entered the room. A few moments afterwards, she opened cast the door to the couples room open;they cringed in the corner, clutching at each other like puppies. "W-what do you want with us?" The man asked fearfully. " A soul for my demons." Hekate answered in a phantom like voice. " I will let you choose. Should I spare your lives? Or the child's?" She looked down at the young girl she held in her arms, her lips in a wicked smile, then looked back at the couple. " Spare us, please spare us!" The man pleaded and the women sobbed behind him. Hekate looked down at the child again and tisked her teeth. " Wrong choice." She set the child down with quick ease and came at them with blinding speed. Only the female was able to let out a short, horrified scream before both adults were limp, and their souls were fed to Hekates demons.
" A child!" Lamia said gleefuly as her sister presented her the young girl outside the now vacant house. "We can raise her, can't we Hekate? Shell be ours. We will teach her the error of her parents ways." She said she swayed on her feet, happy as a lark. "Of cource, Lamia. If it is what you wish." Hekate, wrapped an arm around her sisters shoulder.
" It is."
She smiled," Than so we shall. Lets go home."
"Yes, lets."
